Tzatziki Sauce
1c Greek yogurt (plain)
2tbsp sour cream
1/4tsp salt
1/2 lemon (juice)
6" piece of cucumber (grated)
1/4 clove of garlic (minced)
pinch dill (dried or fresh)
First place the grated cucumber in your hand and squeeze it over the sink to remove as much of the liquid as you can from it.
Now just simply toss everything in a bowl and give it a stir. If you are eating it immediately you can add a bit more garlic if you'd like, but if you are making it ahead of time do not add any more garlic as it gets stronger as it sits. Taste to see if it could use a little more salt and that's it. You're done! Easy Peasy! I often make a double batch to keep in the fridge...it's a quick and easy snack when served with hummus, cut up veggies and some pita bread.
