Frankie's Jazz Club

Part of the Coastal Jazz and Blues Society, Frankies Jazz Club is home to the lively jazz and blues scene in Vancouver. They feature both local and international musicians in a cool supper club setting of a bygone era. I'm particularly fond of this place because my very talented girlfriend Jennifer Hayes plays there often.

Jennifer Hayes is one of Vancouver's premier vocalists, she is known for her crystal clear vocals and poignant melodic delivery. She's graced the stage with some of Jazz's heavy hitters such as Jim Byrnes, Michael Kaeshammer, Bria Skonberg and Vancouver legend  Dal Richards to name a few.  She's chosen Frankie's to release her second album on November 9th 2016,  I'm sure in part because of the palpable sense of community that exists there. I am super excited to have been invited to attend!!!

 The food here is second to none making it the perfect place to go for a relaxing night out. They offer menu items such as fresh house-made pastas, signature entrees and awesome appetizers...I'd recommend ordering several to share. They also have a fantastic array of unpretentious BC and Italian wines, local craft beer and featured daily cocktails.

Frankie's is conveniently located in the heart of the downtown core. With plenty of great hotels nearby, I would suggest spending the night and making a great evening into a fantastic morning.
